These CRC's are being released as tentative CRC's because, although
we feel confident that they are accurate, the evidence supporting their
accuracy and/or lack of corruption is a little less than for other CRC's.
The ! symbol at the beginning of abpeh CRC file names denotes that they're
tentative CRC's.
As with any CRC we release, if anyone has any files that they are
sure are originals but don't agree with the CRC, please let us
know. These files could include ones obtained directly from HR or
his posts and are known to have not been resaved or otherwise
altered. It wouldn't hurt our feelings at all. We would like
to check any known originals that disagree with any CRC.
Likewise, if anyone who is skilled in the forensic analysis of the code
in jpg files has any information concerning the authenticity of the JPGs
referenced by these CRC's, we would appreciate it if they would share their
forensic facts with us so those facts can be considered in addition to
other evidence that led to the CRC's.
We would also appreciate any forensic evidence that could support authenticating
other HR series that we don't have a CRC for as being non-corrupt originals. |
